Acala officially announced that it has identified the remaining 51 million aUSD in the aUSD error minting event, the vast majority of which remain in Acala’s relevant addresses, and about 70% of related transactions still need to be tracked.
Acala stated that it will provide a 5% bounty to addresses that return funds involved in this incident (95% of the funds need to be returned). Once the funds are returned, Acala will take no other action against these addresses.
Earlier news, on August 14th, due to the misconfiguration of the iBTC/aUSD liquidity pool, aUSD was issued abnormally.
In this incident, Acala issued a total of 3.022 billion aUSD abnormally, and has now destroyed the abnormally issued 2.97 billion aUSD through the referendum.
