Julian’s goal is to “protect August Sander’s legacy on the blockchain.”

August’s grandson Gerd (Julian’s father) had sold the photos as collectibles to SK Stiftung Kultur, SK retained the rights until 2034 and issued a takedown notice to OpenSea, which issued a statement and issued a statement on March 7. Sales have been suspended. Julian said the statement is invalid and will definitely go to court to find out who the real owners of these NFT copyrights are.
