Forbes released the 2022 Global Billionaires List. Affected by the volatility of the global stock market last year, the number of people on the 2022 Forbes Global Billionaires List decreased by 87 from last year to 2,668.
While the combined wealth of those on the list this year is $12.7 trillion, it’s down from $13.1 trillion last year.
Among all the richest people on the list, the number of American richest people is 736, ranking first in the world.
Among them, Elon Musk topped the world’s richest list with $219 billion, and Amazon Bezos ranked second with $171 billion. It is reported that this is the first time in the past four years that Bezos has lost his position as the world’s richest man.
It is worth noting that Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance, and Rob Walton, the former chairman of Walmart, are ranked 19th on the Forbes 2022 billionaire list with a worth of 65 billion.
