3Commas, one of the leading crypto trading platforms, has suffered a major security breach, with extensive API key leaks being discovered by the company’s management. CEO Changpeng Zhao has issued an urgent warning to all 3Commas users, urging them to disable their API keys as a precautionary measure.

In a statement released today, Zhao confirmed that the company had identified multiple instances of unauthorized access to user API keys, and that it was working diligently to address the issue. “We take the security of our users’ accounts very seriously, and we are working around the clock to fix this issue,” said Zhao. “In the meantime, we strongly recommend that all 3Commas users disable their API keys to protect their accounts from unauthorized access.”

I am reasonably sure there are wide spread API key leaks from 3Commas. If you have ever put an API key in 3Commas (from any exchange), please disable it immediately.

Stay #SAFU.

The news of the API key leaks has sent shockwaves through the crypto community, with many users expressing concern about the security of their accounts. 3Commas has assured its users that it is taking all necessary steps to secure its platform, and has urged them to remain vigilant in protecting their own accounts.

The exact cause of the API key leaks is currently unknown, and 3Commas is working with cybersecurity experts to determine the root cause and implement additional measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. In the meantime, users are advised to follow best practices for account security, including enabling two-factor authentication and using strong, unique passwords for all accounts.

It is not yet clear how many users have been affected by the API key leaks, but 3Commas has assured its users that it is taking all necessary steps to identify and secure any compromised accounts. The company has also set up a dedicated customer support team to assist affected users in disabling their API keys and securing their accounts.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of taking proper precautions to protect your accounts, particularly when it comes to sensitive financial information. If you are a 3Commas user, be sure to disable your API keys and follow best practices for account security to protect yourself from unauthorized access.
