On March 22, Sophie Gilder, managing director of blockchain and digital assets at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Australia’s largest bank, said that cryptocurrencies have become mainstream.

“Over the past two years, around 900,000 of our clients have moved funds to cryptocurrency exchanges, and one in three Australians today has a banking relationship with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.”
