CoinATMRadar data shows that due to the ongoing bear market, 6,100 new cryptocurrency ATMs were installed in the first 11 months of 2022. In comparison, there will be more than 20,300 cryptocurrency ATMs in 2021, 3 times the number in 2022.
The global cryptocurrency market value has shrunk to $850 billion (about $3 trillion in November 2021), while the price of Bitcoin has fallen by more than 75% in the past year.
Currently, the total number of encrypted ATMs in the world is 38,863, and the United States ranks first, with more than 34,000 ATMs. Canada came in second with 2,688, while Spain (262) and El Salvador (212) came in third and fourth, respectively.
