El Salvador postponed a planned bitcoin bond issuance last week due to the government’s decision to wait for favorable conditions in financial markets, said El Salvador’s Finance Minister Alejandro Zelaya.
Additionally, he said that El Salvador’s bitcoin bonds will be issued no later than September.
Earlier news, El Salvador’s Finance Minister Alejandro Zelaya had said that it planned to issue bitcoin sovereign bonds from March 15 to 20, and the war in Ukraine and Russia slowed the process.
