Ethereum and the recently airdropped proof-of-work ETHW will have the same dollar value in ten years, according to Chandler Guo, the creator of the ethereum hard fork.
Chandler Guo believes that the new token is currently trading at a fraction of its September 15 high, so a 100-fold increase is still possible. But he admits that the forked blockchain still has a lot of work to do before achieving this hundredfold growth.
Currently, ETH prices are high because there are many developers and over 200 different projects running on the Ethereum PoS chain. And there are less than 10 projects on ETHW.
Nonetheless, Guo revealed that in just four days after the merger, the ETH proof-of-work chain has had two DEXs, two bridges, and two NFT exchanges launched. Things are happening step by step, and in a year I think there will be more than 100 projects running on the PoW chain.
