On February 28, DMarket, the NFT and in-game metaverse item trading platform, was announced as a start-up company born in Ukraine. Its decision to sever all ties with Russia and Belarus: prohibit Russian and Belarusian users from registering on the platform; freeze user accounts previously registered in these regions; all assets and skins remain in user accounts, but access to their use is currently restricted Restrictions; the platform no longer supports Russian rubles.
If someone’s account has been frozen by mistake, or they are not citizens of Russia or Belarus, please confirm through KYC and the platform will reopen their account. In response, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov praised DMarket’s decision on Twitter. He has previously called on all major cryptocurrency exchanges to block addresses of Russian users.
