Privacy project Railgun DAO has teamed up with Chainway to add “clearance proof” capabilities for anti-money laundering and sanctions compliance.
With this new feature, Railgun users can “create a proof that their transaction comes from a transaction list that has not interacted with any blacklisted addresses, without revealing their identity.”
The Railgun privacy system, deployed on Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Binance Smart Chain, allows users to “mathematically prove the legitimacy of the source of their funds.”
A proof of concept for this new capability is expected to be available by the end of the second quarter of this year, with full delivery expected in the third quarter.
The collaboration between Railgun DAO and Chainway aims to bring about higher compliance standards and make the blockchain industry more transparent and secure.
In January, Chainway released a “proof of innocence” tool that would allow Tornado users to prove their innocence while preserving their privacy.
The “Not Guilty Proof” feature is a completely zero-knowledge system that ensures user privacy is never compromised.
With this new feature, Railgun DAO and Chainway aim to provide users with a higher level of trust and security, especially when interacting with blockchain technology.
The Railgun DAO team believes this new feature will encourage more people to adopt blockchain technology, especially those who have been hesitant due to security and privacy concerns.
The collaboration between Railgun DAO and Chainway is an important step forward for the blockchain industry, especially when it comes to compliance and security.
With the increasing adoption of blockchain technology, there is an increasing need for compliance measures that can meet regulatory standards.
By introducing a “Not Guilty Proof” feature, Railgun DAO and Chainway not only enhance the security and privacy of blockchain users, but also set a new standard for industry compliance.
