A recent report from The Giving Block predicts that cryptocurrency giving will surpass $1 billion by August 2027, surpass $5 billion by June 2031, and surpass the $10 billion mark by November 2032.

The report highlights the top cryptocurrencies used in donations and the largest annual donations in cryptocurrencies. USDC accounted for 44%, ETH accounted for 24%, and BTC accounted for 17%.

In addition to the platform’s cryptocurrency donation data, The Giving Block also made predictions based on its analysis of potential bitcoin donations. The platform predicts that BTC could hit $100,000 in September 2026 and $250,000 in October 2029.

The growing popularity of cryptocurrency donations can be attributed to their security, transparency, and ease of use. Giving Block is a platform that allows charities to accept cryptocurrency donations and offers tax benefits to the donors.

According to Pat Duffy, co-founder of The Giving Block, “Cryptocurrency donations have the potential to change the way we give to charity. Not only do they offer significant tax benefits, but they also provide donors with the transparency and accountability of traditional giving.” Unable to match.”

The report also revealed that the top five most popular charities accepting cryptocurrency donations are Save the Children, No Kid Hungry, The Water Project, Rainforest Foundation US, and United Way.
