British millennial men are the largest cryptocurrency adopters in the country, according to a new Dynata survey. More than a fifth of UK male millennials have bought or invested in some form of cryptocurrency. 34% of Gen Z men (24 and under) have invested in cryptocurrencies, while 26% of Gen Z women have invested in some digital asset class.
British men between the ages of 25 and 49 are currently more actively investing in cryptocurrencies, compared with the global average of 46% for this age group, far exceeding cryptocurrency investors of all ages and genders.
According to the survey, 41% of crypto users used their cryptocurrencies to buy gift cards, while 15% of Britons said they used cryptocurrencies to buy something.
