The popular NFT project Y00ts announced on Twitter that it will start migrating to Polygon on March 27. Users can easily migrate to Polygon directly from the official website, and those who complete the migration within 24 hours will be rewarded. Gas fees will be provided by Magic Eden, while staking will be free.
During the first 24 hours, the Y00ts team will airdrop BTC DeGod on Polygon based on the number of Y00ts owned. Snapshots will be taken 24 hours after the migration on Polygon starts. The team will then select eligible Y00ts holders for airdrop, and the ID will be announced on Discord (with application instructions).
Additionally, the Y00ts team is focused on the EVM and is against further development of Y00ts/DeGods on SOL. DeGods will migrate to Ethereum on March 31st.
According to Y00ts founder Frank III, Polygon paid Y00ts $3 million to encourage the project to migrate to Polygon.
Migrating to Polygon is expected to improve the performance of Y00ts and provide a better experience for its users. With additional rewards and incentives, many Y00ts holders are expected to migrate within 24 hours.
The move also reflects a growing trend of NFT projects migrating to Polygon, which is popular for its low fees, fast transaction times, and easy integration with Ethereum. With this migration, Y00ts is expected to join other notable NFT projects already on Polygon, including OpenSea and Rarible.
The migration of Y00ts to Polygon is a significant development in the NFT world, and many are eagerly anticipating the benefits it will bring to the project and its users.
