On Thursday local time, top Silicon Valley investor Peter Thiel presented what he called an “enemy list” trying to stop the development of cryptocurrencies at the 2022 Bitcoin Conference in Miami, with “stock god” Buffett at the top of the list.
Peter Thiel calls Buffett the “sociopathic grandpa.” Because Buffett has previously questioned the value of cryptocurrencies and called Bitcoin “rat poison.”
In addition to Buffett, Peter Thiel also denounced JPMorgan Chase CEO Dimon and BlackRock CEO Fink. He believes, “They need to put some of their money in bitcoin.”
Peter Thiel predicts that the price of bitcoin could rise by a factor of 100, which is currently around $43,000, down about 30% from its all-time high in November last year.
He noted that more institutions will need to see widespread adoption of the cryptocurrency before reaching $4.3 million.
