The Ethereum wallet linked to American comedian Bill Murray was hacked after a charity auction this week.
In the end, nearly 110 Wrapped Ethereum (WETH) were stolen, worth about $174,000.
The wallet also contains nearly 800 NFTs from Bill Murray’s 1,000 projects, which will be sold next week. But these NFTs were not stolen, and within hours of the wallet being stolen, these NFTs were transferred to other wallets.
(Decrypt) Previously, the agreatstory in the NFT series jointly launched by Bill Murray was sold at a price of 119.2 ETH (about 185,000 US dollars).
Murray’s team will donate the proceeds of the sale to ChiveCharities, a nonprofit serving the families of veterans and first responders.
