Yat Siu, Chairman of Animoca Brands and member of the Apecoin Board of Directors, proposed a revised staking proposal that not only requires a staking cap but also further shortens the implementation time frame.
According to Yat Siu’s disclosure on social media, he has received new proposals from third-party blockchain developers, which shorten the staking implementation timeline to 14 weeks, UI development takes 13 weeks, and can be done synchronously, but 1 week Auditing can be a bit conservative.
In particular, Yat Siu said that the community would be honored to resubmit a new revised AIP proposal if they wished. It was previously reported that on March 31, the five initial proposals of ApeCoin DAO ended the voting at 9:00 today, of which the APE Token pledge and distribution proposals (the fourth and fifth proposals) were not approved.
The AIP-4 and AIP-5 proposals propose to establish an APE Token incentive pool. BAYC ecological NFT holders who pledge APE can receive APE Token rewards, and the rewards during this pledge period will be released within three years.
