After the Bellatrix upgrade, the Ethereum ETH 0.44% network leaked block rate soared 1,700% on September 7.
Leakage rate refers to how often the Ethereum network fails to verify blocks of transactions to be verified, typically 0.5% of verified blocks in Ethereum fail verification on the first attempt.
But after the Bellatrix upgrade, more than 9% of blocks encountered this problem, and this situation may be related to the preparation of network node operators.
Several core developers of the Ethereum network said that the soaring block leakage rate can be traced back to operators who have not performed client software upgrades. Nodes that have not been updated will lead to leakage of blocks. Prove that there will be more leaked blocks on the blockchain.
