UPS, one of the world’s largest shipping and package supply service companies, has officially joined the Metaverse.
The multinational company has opened a virtual store in Decentraland, aiming to serve SMEs in a virtual world.
However, UPS does not provide one-on-one interaction support in Decentraland at this stage. They have also partnered with Fast Company to open a virtual education academy to provide sales and marketing training services for small businesses.
UPS applied for the Metaverse and NFT trademarks as early as April this year, hoping to protect brand IP in related fields.
