Cross-chain interoperability protocol Nomad tweeted that it partnered with Metagame to create a revenue-earning white-hat hacker NFT to reward white-hat hackers who have paid them back.
Nomad claimed that in order to obtain this NFT, a white hat hacker must have returned more than 90% of the hacked funds to the official recovery wallet on Ethereum ETH 0.44%.
White hat hackers who have not repaid funds still have the opportunity to participate, and Metagame will automatically check the transaction history on the chain to confirm the repayment of funds. After claiming the white hat hacker NFT, the top 50 white hat hackers can also claim $100 of FF tokens.
It was reported on August 2 that Nomad suffered a hacker attack and almost all of the $190 million in its token bridge was exhausted. After checking the official recovery wallet address, Nomad has recovered $32.56 million in funds.
