The ApeCoin community has launched a new proposal AIP-250 voting, which proposes a new APE token staking solution.
The purpose is to enable users to receive advance payments while selling BAYC, MAYC, and BAKC, and pledge APE with compound rewards, and then solve the mutually exclusive dilemma between pledged NFT appreciation and obtaining pledge rewards.
Additionally, NFT holders will be able to leverage their NFT value by generating additional passive income in addition to APE staking rewards, thereby maximizing APE token staking rewards and flexibility.
It is reported that if the AIP-250 proposal is passed, the new APE Stake pledge smart contract will be deployed, which allows users not only to automatically reinvest into the pledge, but also to borrow with NFT or sell it with prepaid income.
Ensuring that NFT owners can still generate cash flow or take advantage of the appreciation value of their NFTs even during the staking period, it is reported that voting on the proposal will end on August 10.
