According to Messari’s report, Cardano ADA 0.05%’s average daily dapp transaction volume increased for the third consecutive quarter, and Dapp usage in the second quarter increased by 49.0% quarter-on-quarter, and the average daily transaction volume remained at 57,900.
The average transaction volume increased by 8.5% from the previous quarter, from $0.117 to $0.126. Despite consecutive quarterly increases, the average transaction fee in USD is still down 50.8% year-over-year, mainly due to the lower price of ADA from the previous year.
Deal activity also surged in the second quarter of the year. Average daily transaction volume increased approximately 2% quarter-over-quarter, from 67,500 to 68,800.
Analysts emphasized that the growth is critical, as changes in transactions and active addresses are usually correlated, but have been slightly skewed in recent quarters.
The ratio of transactions to active addresses has continued to increase over the past five quarters, indicating increased user engagement compared to previous periods.
In the second quarter, the transaction/active address ratio reached 1.19, an increase of 6.1% quarter-on-quarter and 13.2% year-on-year.
