NFTstats.eth tweeted that the zombie CryptoPunk #8531 just held by Punks OTC on July 14 was sold at a price of 550 ETH (worth more than $1.06 million), and the buyer was metaversalvault.eth.
This is the lowest sale price since July 31, 2021, when a Zombie Punk was sold for 450 ETH.
According to previous reports, PunksOTC, a long-term CryptoPunk holder and ETH 0.09%-network-charges-0-33-royalties-on-ethereum/">blue-chip NFT trader, purchased a total of 16 CryptoPunks from Casuallyrekt.eth (aka BeanieMaxi) at a price of 1785 ETH (approximately $3.391 million). 5 of the punks have the hoodie trait and 1 is a zombie punk.
After the transaction, Punks OTC changed its Twitter avatar to CryptoPunk #8531.
This Punk is a three-attribute zombie Punk, and Rarity Tools data shows that it ranks 105th in the rarity ranking of the series.
